Green Narrows Packers quarterback Jordan Love couldn't complete Friday's season opener against the Philadelphia Birds after he experienced an obvious lower left leg injury with 6 seconds left in a 34-29 misfortune in São Paulo.
Love required help to get to the sideline and keeping
in mind that he seemed, by all accounts, to be moving somewhat better as
he strolled to the storage space after the game, he actually required
help from head athletic coach Nate Weir and running back Josh Jacobs
under every last one of his arms.
Mentor Matt LaFleur was two times
got some information about Adoration's status in his postgame news
gathering and the twice said: "I don't have the foggiest idea."
Love didn't address columnists after the game.
"We
understand what sort of fellow he is, the way he moves toward
everything," wide collector Christian Watson said. "Anything it is, I
know he will get past it. We will traverse it."
Love was
attempting to mobilize the Packers on a last drive. After a 33-yard
finish to Jayden Reed that put the Packers at their 49-yard line, Love
dropped back to pass on the following play, was hit by two Hawks
protectors - - cautious tackle Jalen Carter and outside linebacker Josh
Sweat - - and seemed to turn his leg en route to the ground similarly as
he figured out how to flip the ball behind him to Jacobs.
Malik
Willis, obtained by the Packers in an exchange from the Titans last
week, took the last two snaps of the game - - a deficiency and a sack.
The main other quarterback as of now under agreement with the Packers is
Sean Clifford, last year's reinforcement who was delivered last month
in finished products yet re-endorsed to the training crew.
Love's
physical issue came in his most memorable ordinary season game since
marking a four-year, $220 million agreement on July 26 that tied him for
the NFL's most generously compensated player. He played just three
snaps in the preseason opener and afterward didn't play in the last two
presentation games.
"That is the establishment not too far off,"
cautious lineman Kenny Clark said. "Ideally, he can be back the
following week and he can be okay."
Love completed 17-of-34 passing for 260 yards with two scores and one capture attempt.
